- I have not been an Amiga user for about five years, so I thought this
- would be the place to ask my questions. Today I pulled out my good old
- A500, and was surprised to rediscover what an amazingly wonderful machine
- she still is! I initially noticed that she still produces better
- animation than than my Pentium, and as I continued to play around I
- realised that I should very much begin to be an active Amiga user again.
- The problem is that at the time I mournfully had to turn to the infinitely
- inferior world of MSDos machines, software was practically unavailable and
- Commodore had just gone belly-up (though I think they probably deserved it
- for what they let happen to the Amiga). I am surprised and elated to find
- that the Amiga still exists, but wonder how it is doing in the US market.
- In fact, exactly what are they up to in general? Last thing I knew, there
- was no point in buying a hard drive because almost noting supported it
- (though I did it anyway-- $700 for a 30M drive, Jeez). I'd really
- appreciate it if someone could bring me up to speed about the Amiga's
- situation in the US. If you've got the time, please email me at
- Borzag@aol.com.
